The summer of 2025 was a very special one for us at Kanalvillan. In addition to enjoying visits from friends and family, we got an incredible amount done, renovating and sprucing up both the interior and exterior. Here, we’d like to give you a little glimpse of everything that’s happened over the past few months.

A new pier on Lake Laxsjön
One of our biggest projects was building a 7-meter-long dock right on the water. With the help of our hardworking volunteers, we’ve created a spot where you can enjoy swimming, moor a boat, or simply take in the view. A big thank you to everyone who helped us out!

Home renovations
A lot has happened around the villa as well. We’ve renovated, spruced things up, and updated many small details. We’re especially proud of the entrance area, which now feels brighter and more inviting. This summer was a real “makeover season” for us—and we can’t wait to show you the results in person.

Gratitude and Anticipation
It was a busy summer filled with long hours of work, new ideas, and, of course, some wonderful moments by the lake. We are grateful for all the support and are already looking forward to the upcoming 2026 season.
